This is what most are doing online. This is what the Lord commands us to do. We are to bring non-believers to the truth.
You see videos saying, “subscribe if you believe in Jesus.” They bore me.The Lord doesn't have a YouTube channel where you see updates from Him. Don't be compelled to support a person online because they claim Christ to be their Lord and Saviour.
What about you? What about us sharing the gospel? “I'm not a fan of cameras.” Neither am I. And this is something all should understand: social media provides reach better than any other type of media. You don't have to be photogenic to spread the gospel. There are many ways to spread the gospel — to a friend — a stranger — or family member. Poems — books (like this one) — or articles too. People are interested in a variety of fields. You may draw to spread the Gospel. After all, the Holy Spirit blessed you with a unique talent — use it. Some are introverts so they can't participate on social media as others do, or talk to strangers, but you can post pictures with verses — personally that's effort put in.
We will not remember anything about our earthly life in Heaven, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't bring others to the truth. Share the love of God — tell them how fun it is to be a Christian. Don't tell them from the get-go, “Jesus loves you so much that He died for you.” I wouldn't listen to you and I'm Christian. Then you're a fake Christian, you might say. No I'm not. Though at times the thought creeps in.
Imagine someone comes and tells you a stranger died for you — that he loved you too. Would you believe them, let alone listen to them further? No, you wouldn't. Tell them of how God freed you from your struggles — route scriptures from the Bible like how Samson was so strong because of God. Or how Forrest Frank got his back healed in 2 weeks, which, according to some search, would take a minimum of 4–6 weeks.
Jesus loves you so much, that He died for you and more, so we could live in eternity.” It's become a cliché that we hear all the time. If you want to share the Gospels to a stranger then maybe say:
“Hey. Do you have 5 minutes to spare, I'd like to talk to you. Do you know the Bible?” (They'll say yes, no or leave you — which is also fine). “I'd like to tell you about a guy who was so wise that not even Elon Musk could compare.” (Or you could talk about Samson — Elijah — anyone — even Jesus). But whatever you say, do not be quick to judge them and scold them, saying, “you must move from your sinful ways.” Would you agree if someone came and started telling you you're living your life wrong? Never — human pride wouldn't allow that.
If you want examples of this, I'd suggest you follow Bryce Crawford. Most of his videos highlight exactly what I'm saying — though he also uses the cliché at times. But he mostly connects with the person first, then brings Jesus into the picture. That is how one should bring another into the truth.
Anyone can do it. Even the most introverted. Draw like the guy who created an anime Bible. Sing like Hulvey — Brandon Lake — and Forrest Frank. Go around and teach the Gospel like Cliff and Stuart Knitchle. Have a podcast like George Janko. Write books like me. Whatever it is — do it for the Lord and His Kingdom.
