In today’s society, Christianity differs from what it was in the olden days. This is largely due to the rapid changes our economy and world have experienced.

Humanity has altered the meaning of who Christ is. Some have become agnostic, and others are uncomfortable even hearing about the Bible. As humans, our intellect sets us apart from all other creatures on earth. It's in our nature to question the details of life and the laws of nature — but we must also recognize that some truths are beyond our understanding, at least for now.

Technology has taken us far. The advancements of AI have enabled us to discover territories once thought impossible to reach by the human mind. We've reached a point where we rely on it for almost everything — even to the extent of dismissing anything that science or technology cannot prove, as false or non-existent.

Where am I going with this? We've given science and technology the authority to define right and wrong — even to decide whether God exists or not. Through technology came social media, and although it has its benefits, it clouds many people's minds with subjective claims about various topics — including Jesus.

These subjective claims from social media, science, and technology are part of the reason modern-day Christianity looks the way it does. Yes, Christians do play a role in shaping today's faith culture — but so do the voices of those who are not grounded in the truths mentioned above.

Much has been poured into what is now called “Christianity,” shaped by our human tendency to question — even the unquestionable.
